3)Hm...the 2nd round of ODEX catching people who download anime ( those listed on their AVPS webby )has just been done... ( They sent out the letters on Friday the 13th somemore.. wakao ). Seems like more people kena this time.. and more people are talking about it. Over HWZ forums, etc etc etc. A few things on this issue.

Wow.. singnet really doesnt protect our privacy. They just release our private CONFIDENTIAL particulars to ODEX. Zzzzzz Singnet.... so far no one from Starhub kena...

Odex is definitely taking a scare and bully tactic. Send people letter.. saying can charge up to 10k per infringing article.. etc etc. Then tell the victim that this matter can be settled out of court... with a fee of ard 3-5k. Bring you to the depths of hell before giving you the ray of hope. This is the type of attitude i ABSOLUTELY loathe. This type of psychological attack to make you give in easily... FUCK IT MAN.

ODEX even tries to hush people up.. telling their unfortunate "victims" to hush it up and not tell anybody about this matter.

And ODEX.. if u're reading this ... dun bother getting me to shuddup. You're all over the internet forums...

Really gotta question the democracy at times.... Really wonder whether our National Pledge has any meaning anymore.

More and more people are questioning ODEX's methods.. like whether its possible to counter them either LEGALLY , or by ALTERNATIVES.

I Believe that its possible to counter them legally.. but singaporeans just have the mentality of being "hum". Born, Lived, and taught the values of not to be authoritarian... See lawyer's letter... must die die try to settle out of court and "not lose face" or dun take the risk of going to jail.

And i've to admit.. i'm one of those kinds of people.

Imagine. You get jailed for this ( Yes it's possible. The Jap Anime companies can sue you. ). Then you get out.. you go into society...and apply for a job..

Question: Did you go to jail ? What did you go to jail for.
Answer : Yes. Jailed for... downloading anime...

Oh.. but the silver lining amongst this dark clouds.. someone called up AVPS to check out their stance on anime not within their list. The result ?

OOTZ ~~ ODEX will not catch ppl downloading anime that are not listed in their list.... CAUSE THEY CAN'T ~~~ WAKAKAKAKAKA
