Tears of the sunshine faded away

Swept away by the hollow darkness of the night.

Black and white images flashed upon the silver screen.

Giving it's last shout as the reel steadily burnt away.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

Crushed beneath the sands of time.

Blown away by the ravages of the wind.

Drowned by the jubilance of the new day.

Forgotten by the beatless heart.





Alone he was not.
